About Us

What We Are:

  • Specialists in erotic photography – We don't shoot weddings (as much -- see our events site for more details)!
  • Discreet – We know that not everyone is supportive of sex-positivity and free expression. Unless we have your prior permission, we never share your name or pictures with ANYONE!
  • Flexible – We can shoot at our studio or at a location of your choosing. We will gladly travel around the Twin Cities Metro area.
  • Relaxed – Our studio is a low pressure setting in which you can explore your boundaries while feeling safe.
  • Woman-owned.
  • Co-photographers – Charlie and Gregg work together on every shoot. By working together, we see good shots that would otherwise go uncaptured. We can also switch lighting and settings very quickly, which means that you can do more "looks" more quickly.
  • Flexible – We can shoot at our studio or at a location of your choosing. We will gladly travel around the Twin Cities Metro area.
  • Supportive and Sex-Positive – We care about helping you look good and have fun.
  • Digital Photography Specialists
  • GLBT and Family of Choice / Poly friendly.

What We Are NOT:

  • We are Not Glamour Shots® – At Coppertone Studios, we treat each client differently. We focus on what makes you an individual. Our photo studio isn't a factory!
  • Your average photo studio. Many studios have a standard set of poses, and trot them out on cue. We never know exactly what we'll be shooting until the time comes! We thrive on improvisation, and helping people make photos that are unique.
  • Pornographers – We're not here to exploit anyone. Taking control of one's sexuality is extremely empowering, and we're honored to help you do it.
  • For Commercial Distribution – Our photos are for you to share with your friends and lovers. We will not use them for any other purpose. We will not distribute your pictures in any way without your permission.
  • An Escort Service – Some people get the impression that because are involved in sensual work, that we participate in it. We're happy to be in photos, but only as eye-candy or set decoration.

Meet The Photographers

Both of our photographers, Charlie Copper and Gregg Lind think that positive expression of sexuality is always healthy and beautiful. We love of the infinite variety of human sexual expression, and want to encourage it.

Charlie Copper

She is a native Minnesotan, but was college educated in rural Iowa. An avid reader, she also enjoys artsy films and many genres of music. In addition to her work with Coppertone Studios Charlie has a day job in the knowledge management field and is also working on a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. She proudly calls herself a feminist and glbt rights advocate.
